With a rich ambiance that also has 3 high-def flat screen TVs, the Boston Room is one of Boston’s most beautiful, classic and intriguing spaces making it the perfect place to plan any occasion. The crown jewel of The Greatest Bar, the 4th floor Boston Room features murals about Boston’s neighborhoods, history and politics, stately portraits of the Kennedy brothers and John Quincy Adams, as well as ceiling sections adorned with the same gold leaf that tops the Massachusetts State House. This room will have you singing “I Love That Dirty Water … Boston You’re My Home.”

As an added feature, the room is named after both the classic Standell’s Boston themed song and the popular entertainment and nightlife TV show “Dirty Water TV” that airs on NESN and was created by some of The Greatest Bar’s owners. The Hollywood stars, musicians, movies, concerts, comedy acts, and TV shows that were inspired by their Boston roots adorn the walls of this entertainment focused space. This entertaining and engaging space provides an intriguing snapshot of the plentiful pop culture icons born and bred in Boston through the years. This space creates the opportunity to live through every exciting championship moment. But the real sight to behold in The Championship Room is the five championship murals that feature the Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots Championships that have been won since The Greatest Bar opened its doors in 2004.

A lounge area and bannister seating perfectly enhance the VIP ambiance for people watching. The second floor mezzanine provides a perfect view of all the action taking place on the first floor and the perfect angle of the huge high-def TV for watching all of your favorite sports action. We consider it our “Sistine Chapel of Sports”. The ceiling mural – one of the most unique aspects of the venue – displays Boston’s legendary sports figures and signature moments. On weekend nights it becomes one of the hottest nightlife experiences, and when the big sports events are on TV, this is where the crowd gathers to take in all the action. As the home of two prestigious music schools and the birthplace of several influential rock bands, theres no denying that Boston has a lively music scene. Before and after TD Garden events, this floor rocks with excitement. Featuring Boston’s largest hi-def TV and numerous hi-def flat screen TVs, this level is the perfect place to pre-and-post-game, dance and party the night way, and gather with friends for any occasion. The Greatest Bar’s first floor sports bar and nightclub is the signature room at our venue. Or, looking for music and dancing? Our state-of-the-art nightclub hosts the best DJ’s in Boston and is the ultimate in nightly entertainment. Watch all of your favorite teams at our Sports Bar on our 14′ flat screen TV, the largest in Boston.
